Meet Our Doctor: Dr. Jennifer Wong

Born and raised in Texas (hook’em!), Dr. Jennifer Wong received her Doctorate in Optometry (O.D.) from UC Berkeley and went on to complete residency training in low vision rehabilitation and traumatic brain injury at the Long Beach VA Health System. Afterwards, she became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O) after demonstrating a commitment to lifelong optometric learning in 2020.
Dr. Wong is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist and has a strong interest in evaluating ocular disease with the newest imaging technology, treating digital eye strain, and fitting specialty contact lenses including toric, multifocal, and high prescriptions. She also co-manages refractive surgery patients (LASIK/PRK) with surgeons in the SF Bay Area.
When not in clinic, Dr. Wong enjoys biking the Bay Area and raising her fur-baby, Bevo. Dr. Wong prides herself in not only helping patients see, but also listening to them as well! Come in with all your questions and eyecare needs!

Dr. Katherine Manalo, OD practices primary eye care optometry, including disease evaluation and management for diabetes, glaucoma and cataracts. She obtained her doctorate at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry and has been in practice for almost 20 years. In the clinic, Dr. Manalo examines for visual disorders and medical conditions and works together with patients to prescribe the most appropriate treatment. She is an avid supporter of natural health, nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle for overall well-being and disease prevention. She lives a plant-based lifestyle, is an animal advocate and a companion to three furry felines.
